my life

For nearly twenty years, I have dedicated my passion to releasing young people’s potential. In a nutshell, I work to be a mouthpiece God can use to deliver a generation from the bondage of low expectations. That’s what I do. Whether I am writing thoughts, speaking words, making music, or serving others, my heart beats for Jesus Christ and his call upon today’s youth to lead his cause and transform their world.

Regardless of the role I play or the hat I wear, I follow one simple philosophy: It’s All About Relationships™. Every element of life begins and ends with that truth; it’s the key to achieving a success so astounding that the only possible explanation is Jesus Christ.

Today, I serve as the Executive Director of Endeavor (Christian Endeavor International). My responsibility is to make sure the ministry remains accurately focused on its God-given purpose and organizational priorities. Serving an organization that has served Christ and the church since 1881 is an honor. It’s amazing to see how God is working through the oldest/newest youth movement in the world. I am so blessed to be surrounded by an incredible team of servant leaders everyday.

Traveling across the nation and around the world has become a way of life in the last few years, and I am so grateful for the chance to share the message of Jesus’ call on this generation of youth with so many people who are willing to listen. But at the end of the day, I always get to go home to my family. Above all else, my greatest joy and most important job takes place at my home in Michigan, where I live with his wife of nearly 20 years, Cindy, and our two sons, Parker and Kelton.
